SPM 2020- Covid times, 1st batch
Dan kisahnya, selepas SPM:
Kolej Matrikulasi- First semester online class, 2nd sem di Banting
UPU> Pilhan pertama Uni Malaysia Pahang, Mechanical Eng
#UMP, after Sem 1 result, screen & selected for interview by JPA
JPA tu dia screen semua yg dapat result 3.0 or higher, lpas tu gi interview. Dia x minta pon
JPA memang screen pelajar, mereka tidak apply JPA ya.
#Sem 3 offered Dual Degree Program - Beijing Jiaotong University BJTU
#Sem 3 & 4 (UMP) : Academic + Mandarin Classes up to HSK3
# Sem 5 Sept 2024 fly to Beijing- mid 2027 onwards di Beijing on JPA scholarship
Program: 2years in UMP + 2.5 years di BJTU
UMP dia ada a few dual degree program, yg I tahu Beijing n Germany
Tp Beijing punya x sure dia akan continue lama lagi sbb ECRL pun dh nk start operation, so unless ada HSR later on maybe soon akan habis la. Tp still ada alternafive lain mcm MRT @ LRT
Batch ke3, ada dlm 30+ org
Syarat dia kena lulus Mandarin tu, n maintain pointer above 3.0, ada gak yg sangkut dlm batch depa. Pointer x dpt maintain
Secara umumnya selepas SPM:
Selalunya ada tiga choices, Matriks, UPU-Asasi, atau Form 6
Tapi matriks yg offer paling awal, so we all continue jer la & tak take up any offer from UPU
Yes, pre-U. Yg anak no 2 I follow UPU, x ambik matriks. So dia ambik Asasi UIA. Now di Gombak la for Civil Eng, bru habis 1st year
Yes, kalau matriks you have more option which Uni to apply, if Asasi you are most likely akan stay with the original Uni
Yes dgn result matriks. Matriks ni if you try nak masuk mcm UM tu mmg kena tip-top la result, 4flat insyaallah dpt. Klu kureng kena la minta uni2 lain
Berkenaan results SPM pula:
Another thing utk anak I yg sulung ni, result SPM dia was a mixed bag. Ada A sikit, bnyk B , C pun ada haha. D x ingat ada ke tak, but x ada la yg fail.
So kalau minta UPU mungkin susah nk dpt Uni yg kita nak, so just stick with Matrik.
SPM tu, punca dia masa kami balik Japan dia terus masuk F1 hujung2 tahun dah, bulan 8@9 cam tu la. So nk nak familiriase dgn silabus msia mmg struggle. Rasanya hujung2 F2 bru dia boleh catch up. Which is the same situation I had when I came back from my time in UK masa my father buat Masters dia. Terus masuk F2 tengah2 tahun 1991, buku Log pun x tau menatang apa. So i fully understood the situation.
That time, my dad told me, he can try to get me into the top school in KB masa tu, mcm skolah yg Syd Helmi tu, Ahmad Maher ke apa, but he says it doesnt matter where you go, but if you dont make an effort its not gonna change much. So those words sticks with me, now I try to apply to my kids as well, just give them supports all the time n it is much easier to do when they are staying with you.
Only my #2 pernah try ujian utk MRSM, tapi x dapat. Yg #3 & #4 we didnt bother.

I dunno why spouse rajin hantar anak2 ambik exam mrsm, I won't bother. Especially coming from private school, chances maybe 0.0000001
My Sek Menengah pun sekolah daily je, Sek Men Kbg Kerian 1. But I hold the all time best SRP result for the school, nasib sbb tu kan last SRP, ke second last lupa haha
Tahniah sekali lagi untuk pelajar SMK yang berjaya mendapat biasiswa ke luar negara.
