A lot of people ask me whether medicine is a good career option. This is what I think:
Yes, it is a good career option for:
1) those who have a genuine interest
2) for those who have a good reason to pursue medicine as a career
It is not a good career for people who are lazy or only have monetary gains as their sole purpose. There are other less painful and easier ways to accumulate wealth other than working as a doctor. And if you knew the starting salary of a doctor in Malaysia, you would definitely agree that there are other easier ways.
