This is to enlighten you why tetanus and other infectious disease are so common among Sabahan. This D3 of life child was brought to A&E due to non stop bleeding from the umbilical cord. She was delivered by Bidan Kampung, cord cut via un steriled method and ligated with thread. diagnosis was TRO Hemorrhagic Disease of Newborn and prophylactically cover for tetanus with IM Tetanus immunoglobulin 250 i.u and IM ATT. — with Shahrin Jpam and Bakrie Shah.

Mohd Iqbal Iyen I did presented a series of neonatal tetanus cases (if not mistaken around 17cases for year 2005) admitted to tawau hospital in sabah state clinical conference n given brief outline how we may prevent this... feedback that I got by the panels: you talk like a politician iqbal...huhu...:)
